Lauren Bush is the Designer and Founder of Lauren Pierce. She started Lauren Pierce in 2008 to further the expression of her work in combining fashion and philanthropy. Through Lauren Pierce, Lauren strives to better the world by creating a women's line that is beautiful and sustainable. After fashion design courses at Parsons Design School in New York City and Central St. Martin's School of Art & Design in London, she interned at Zac Posen's design studio. In 2003, a dress that Lauren designed for the CFDA awards was selected for the Goddess Costume Exhibit at the MET. In 2005, Lauren became an Honorary Spokesperson for the UN World Food Programme, traveling around the world. And in 2006, Lauren conceptualized, a company with the mission of creating good products that help feed the world, by designing an eco-friendly, burlap bag with proceeds going to feed hungry children in schools. To date, FEED has partnered with companies such as Pottery Barn, Bergdorf Goodman, HSN, Whole Foods Market, Rugby Ralph Lauren, Barnes & Noble, Gap, and many more, and has provided over 60 million school meals to kids around the world. Lauren attended Princeton University. Although a native of Denver, CO and Houston, TX, she now makes New York City her home. |

Jacqueline Ytuarte is Lauren's business partner. Jacqueline brings to Lauren Pierce extensive experience in fashion with a focus on socially conscious products. Jacqueline collaborates on all aspects of the business with Lauren. Prior to Lauren Pierce, Jacqueline managed the fashion division of an environmental non-profit sourcing eco friendly and artisanal materials from all corners of the globe. She has collaborated with the top design houses from all over the world in creating environmentally friendly clothing & accessories including: Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Burberry, Maison Martin Margiela, Jil Sander, Marni, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Moschino, Bottega Veneta, Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, Martin Grant, Duro Olowu, Diane von Furstenberg, Thakoon, Derek Lam, Doo-Ri, Isabel Toldeo, Rogan, Loomstate and more. Previously Jacqueline worked for the Gucci Group & also designs her own line of jewelry. Jacqueline is a graduate of Georgetown University and a native New Yorker. |
